Centred around the local music community, the festival aims to be an inclusive experience where access is granted to people of all ages to not only experience the live music scene but also to participate in it. Featuring a mix of under age bands as well as some of the city’s most established artists such as The Boom Booms, the goal is to promote a sense of ownership and participation in the culture that we all ultimately help to create. As well as live performances the festival will also feature workshops by community leaders. Access to the power of the live music experience should not hinge solely on whether one is old enough to order a drink in a bar.

An affordable and accessible pricing scheme is in place to allow anyone a chance to see shows. All shows at Astorinos, Red Cat, and Neptoon will be “by donation”. Cover for other showcases will range from $5 - $10 and full festival passes are $15. Passes are available online here or at Red Cat, Neptoon, Zulu or Beatstreet.
